Systemic yeast infection symptoms manifests themselves in dozens of ways. Some of the diseases a systemic
yeast infection can bring about are: arthritis, gout, high cholesterol, asthma, allergies, acid reflux, and crohn's
disease. Systemic yeast infection symptoms can also cause a variety skin problems like psoriasis, eczema, rosacea,
hives, and acne, most of which require prescription medication to treat. Systemic yeast infection symptoms are the
most common type of yeast infection in human skin. A systemic yeast infection skin rash is known as candida
albicans. Candida albicans are fungi that inhabit the surfaces of our bodies and occasionally cause an
infection.
Systemic yeast infection symptoms of the skin usually occur in the warm, moist areas of the body. Normally, the
skin blocks the growth of the yeast, but if there are scrapes or cuts on an area where the fungi exist, that area
becomes susceptible to a systemic yeast infection. Adults become more susceptible to systemic yeast infections as
they age and can be infected in areas like the mouth, under the breasts, lower stomach, and various other folds in
the skin. Women are prone to yeast infections, another form of systemic yeast infection.
Examples of systemic yeast infection skin rashes and their symptoms are:
1. Vaginal Yeast Infections – The symptoms of vaginal yeast infections are itching and burning, and vaginal
discharge.
2. Oral Systemic Yeast Infections – Thrush is a systemic yeast infection that triggers white lacy areas on the
base of the tongue, roof of the mouth, or anywhere else in the mouth. Thrush can also make the tongue look red,
without the milky looking coating.
3. Systemic yeast infection symptoms occur in the warm and moist areas of the body where they yeast can easily
grow. They can cause surface skin infections like diaper rash in babies. These infections may appear as smooth red
rashes with curved edges and may cause pain and itching.
4. Intertrigo is a systemic yeast infection that displays itself as soft red skin and is found in the folds of
the body.
5. There are several different systemic yeast infections that affect the hands. One develops as swelling in the
nail fold area and another shows up in the webs of the fingers.
Thrush requires treatment from a doctor and prescription medication. But most of these other systemic yeast
infection symptoms of the skin can be treated powders or anti-fungal creams that can be purchased at a drugstore or
supermarket.
